I submitted a warranty claim on 12/3/2023 and received confirmation that HP had received my laptop on 12/13. Ever since, there's been a part pending. I'm getting daily emails that a part is pending and the return date keeps getting further and further out. Right now, it's at 2/24/24 which I doubt will hold given the track record of continued delays. If it's that hard to get ahold of the part, wouldn't it make more sense to just send me a new laptop? Or I'll even take a refund at this point. A brand new $1,000 laptop that doesn't even last a year, and that takes 3 months to repair, just isn't worth waiting around to find out that the refurbished unit has an even shorter lifespan.
