Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The desktop on my laptop, a Pavilion15T-EG100 with touch screen, suddenly started to just show the top half of the screen. I can't move the icons and when I open a program it just shows the top half. I took a screenshot and would be obliged if I can get any advice. The gray bar on the bottom is supposed to be the task bar.
