Hi,
I've just upgraded to a new laptop.
My question relates to the screens of both my old and new laptop, they are both HD screens with a resolution of 1366x768.
But my old laptop (which was purchased in 2011) screen seems better, my old laptop is a HP Pavilion DV6, and my new laptop is HP 15, model da0042tx.
Can someone please explain to me the difference between the two display panels, the only info I could find online is the Pavilion has a LED backlight and the HP 15 is WLED-backlit display.
Either way the Paviliion has a better screen and I'm wondering why.

I don't know what is the model/product of your old HP Pavilion DV6. It may have better resolution (1920 x 1080) and your new machine only has 1366x768.
In terms of technology, I believe new WLED-backlit display is better than old LED backlight.
Regards.
