Recently i got my laptop repaired for an audio jack problem.he replaced the jack with new one.
Later i found my laptop screen became warmer (like the appearance of screen when night mode is turned on ,but it is off ) and dimmer.i tried changing the display settings in intel hd graphics panel and recalibrating the display but the screen colour temperature is still warm.when i opened the bios it is also dimmer than before the repair.
Please help me out with this problem.

Thank you for the pictures and it explains more than the words.
This looks like an internal display issue and it can be fixed by servicing the laptop.
I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Note: you can connect the laptop to an external monitor or tv in order to verify the display brightness.
Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

@arya1344
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- First, let's try updating system BIOS and check: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629
- Next, disable adaptive brightness: Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options, then click on "Change plan settings" next to your active power plan. Scroll down to Display, then under Enable adaptive brightness, switch it off for both the battery and plugged in modes.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
