HP laptop

Somehow my LCD was damaged, so the screen thinks I’m touching it on the left side 24/7, to the point where I can’t even sign in. Is there any way to disable touchscreen without logging in?

@Jessiecrock,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that there is no option to disable touchscreen outside Windows. However, you can try booting into BIOS by tapping the F10 key on startup and check whether you are able to boot to BIOS ( NOTE: Touchscreen works in BIOS as well)  and see if there is an option to disable touchscreen.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
