Hi. My laptop is brand new. I got it less than 3 month ago. And the display blinked about 4 times since the first day. It blinked the first day, I think. Went black then back normal again. It was just for a second. Another time, it showed many colors then got back to normal again. It took about a second too. and it blank 2 times more, I think. What's happening here. I am afraid something bad happens to the display.
I took the device to the HP distributer that I got it from. But unfortunately, it's the worst experience ever. The bottom line, they updated the Bios and replace the Windows OS. But it did it again. It gave me colors for one time only in maybe 4 days.
Is there a solution that I can apply without going to the distributer again?

I wish we could help you -- but we can't. This is just a community forum staffed mostly by part-time volunteers.
For hardware issues, you have to deal directly with HP -- so taking it back to them is really the only course of action you have.

The blinking and color display are caused by video and/or screen hardware failures. The video drivers have nothing to do with either of these issues.
