Product: HP EliteBook Folio 9480m Base Model Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 Can not get my Display Port nor the VGA Port to A HDMI adapter to work on HP laptop EliteBook Folio 9480, so any help would be most appreciated.

VGA to HDMI is from analog to digital, you need a proper converter/adapter.  How do you connect DP to HDMI (which end to what ?).

I brought the proper adapters 1st was VGA Adapter which goes into my laptop w3hich also had a 3.5mm audio lead that goes into laptop and a usb lead for power then on the other side is a HDMI PORT, New HDMI lead to smart TV, NO LUCK, So I got a display port to HDMI adapter and still no signal on TV SO PLUG THE ADAPTERS INTO ANOTHER LAPTOP AND THEY WORKED, So it seems i have the issues on my laptop , so what do i do, Any help would be most appreciated.
