Hello,

I have recently have issues with my computer when I connect it to my  E24d G4 FHD monitor using the USB-C cable, ever since a BIOS update in April 2022.

The cable transfers the network and charges the computer, but the monitor is not identified in the computer as a display, and the monitor enters sleep mode. This issue was solved when I reset my Windows OS, and then happened again after windows updates, and solved again after an upgrade to Windows 10 64bit 21H2 OS, and happened again after the first full shut-down of the computer.

I have installed all the latest drivers from HP and updated all windows updates, restarted the computer and monitor several times with no success. And I don't want to result to re-installing my OS every time.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Aya.

I would love to

Yes it is a hp product, the  E24d G4 FHD usbC docking monitor. It was also replaced with a new one after I experienced problems and it didn't solve the issue.
