I own an HP Pavilion Gaming notebook. It turns out that the screen started to show problems. Sometimes the screen turns on, sometimes it doesn't.
I believe the problem is with the cable, which is the same one that connects to the webcam. The webcam also has problems: the webcam led turns on, but the webcam does not show an image, but only a black image.
When searching for display cables to replace, I identified, through the website https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-15-cx0000-laptop-pc/20284020/model/21910717/..., which can be two: L20355-001 or L20354-001.
Assuming the webcam LED is working properly, I believe one of the cables is in good condition. Could anyone tell me which of the cables should be having problems and needs to be replaced?
In the image above, the L20355-001 is found by number 12 and L20354-001 is found by number 13.

In the simplest case the internal display cable behind the screen is no longer seated correctly. It has come loose slightly. |
(1) IR ( Infrared ) webcam is used for Windows Hello ( facial recognition )
If it was not ordered the IR webcam is not installed ! Check your order/invoice.
