Hi,
Got a strange problem.
When I connect an iPad (USB-C) to the HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2 (Display Link 4k) iPad screen is not displayed on the screen connected to the dock. Then I connect the same iPad to the HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock (non Display Link 4k), there is no problem, I can see the iPad screen on the display connected.
Is it a expected behaviour, or is it a defect?
Kamil

Those TWO docks are not the same. A big surprise: you can use iPad on HP USB-C G5 dock because they are NOT compatible.
Regards.

yes, it is more than surprise, it is disappointment...
But USB-C is the same. I thought that the same standard is done in order to make thing simpler. We bought the 4k model believing it is a better version of HP USB-C G5. And it is in one point but on the other side it's taking away the basic functionality...
@Banhien for further reference, what parameter shall I check in order to make sure that the dock will be displaying the iPads or not?
