HP USB-C Dock G5

I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am experiencing with my recently purchased HP Dock Station G5 and Acer Nitro XF3 monitors. I have recently acquired three Acer Nitro XF3 monitors, and I am attempting to connect them to my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop using the HP Dock Station G5.

However, I am encountering a problem. Despite all components being brand new, including the monitors, laptop, and cables (with the exception of the dock station, which has been in use since 2021 but it's thunderbolt cable is brand new), once I plug the dock station in the laptop, everything works except for the display ports. The monitors work perfectly fine when connected directly to my laptop.

For your reference, here are the specifications of my laptop:

  • Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus G14
  • Processor: Ryzen 7 5500HS
  • Graphics Card: RTX 3060 6GB
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 512GB SSD
  • Operating System: Windows 11 (latest update, as of 2023)

I have also tested this setup with three different laptops, including my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, and I continue to encounter the same issue. I have ensured that all drivers and software are up-to-date on my laptop, and I have followed the setup instructions meticulously. Also, a good thing to mention is that all the drivers and firmware is updated. Despite these efforts, the problem persists.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. Any guidance or troubleshooting steps you can provide would be greatly appreciated. If there are specific updates or configurations required for the HP Dock Station G5 to function seamlessly with my laptop and the Acer Nitro XF3 monitors, please let me know. I am willing to provide any additional information or perform necessary tests to help diagnose the issue more effectively.
