HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV)

Similar issue to other historical posts on Baseus docking station screen connection issues. Followed all steps on this post and issue persists.

I have purchased a new personal laptop (see link below), and planned to use my work set-up, the Baseus USB C port for dual monitors docking station, to swap devices between work / personal. When connected to the personal laptop it fails to detect or connect to the USB ports. I can get the ethernet, keyboard and mouse to work via the docking station, just not the monitors (connected via HDMI). Monitor settings and connections all checked (HDMI input settings), tested with work laptop and work as required.

Personal laptop is: HP Laptop 15s-fq2037sa Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

Note the work laptop runs perfectly with all screens connected. HP device for work is an identical laptop (just smaller screen size). I simply want to have the same multi-screen set-up for my personal device

Please note I have updated drivers, unplugged everything from HDMI ports, shut computer down for 30 seconds and turned back on. Nothing. Does not have a thunderbolt port. Been in device manager and updated drivers for monitors and network adapters multiple times.  Checked for all updates with the HPSA and note everything is up-to-date (including Windows).

No compatibility issues for Baseus 9 in one adapter (Model BS-OH047) with HP as it works flawlessly on work device. As I can get one monitor to work if plugged in directly to HDMI port on laptop, I wonder if this is an issue with output settings? Note the Baseus input is 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/5A; Output: 5V/0.9A.

Please can you assist.

until now, all HP 14s or 15s series laptops, the USB-C port is only a basic USB function, and none of them support video output based on DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode).

.

The latest pavilion laptops already support video output based on DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode).
