hello everyone

i recently bought a HP docking station g5 to go with my zbook studio g9

with this docking station i have 2 monitors connected:

- lg 27mp65

- lg ultrawide

however i have been experiencing some trouble. Whenever i start my laptop (via the docking station or laptop itself, does not make a difference) only one screen is being displayed. The other one, lg utlrawide says "no signal". The weird thing is that whenever i go into the monitor settings they are both recognized. Even better, the only thing i have to do is disconnect the hdmi cable on the back of the monitor, plug it back in and it works just fine for as long as my computer stays on. it is just frustrating i have to do this every time i restart my laptop.

this is what i have tried so far

- all my drivers are installed and updated.

- sometimes it works when i use the shortcut ctrl - shift - windows - b

- disconnected everything, reset the docking station and replug everything

- i have read about the usb thunderbold "saving energie" mode which i also have turned off

note: since my monitors are not new, they both work with HDMI. I bought two cables to go from displayport to hdmi. Could this also be a problem?

is there anything i am missing or could try?

kind regards Ronny
