HP USB-C Dock G5
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a brand-new HP Laptop and HP Docking station, but the docking station is not recognizing the external monitors. I have tried DisplayPort cables and HDMI, but it will only recognize the HDMI if I plug it directly into the laptop and then it sees it as a duplicate screen to the laptop, not a separate monitor. The docking station recognizes the keyboard and mouse just fine. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

What is your computer ? Sounds like your computer is NOT compatible with the HP USB-C G5 dock and its has a hopeless USB-C port.

I need to know what EXACTLY is your machine to be able to help.

Regards.
