I have HP Chromebook Model 14a-na1083cl with 2 Type c (5Gbps) and 1 Type A ports and would like to know if I can connect an external monitor to it if I get a Type C to HDMI adapter.  I am preparing to setup an external monitor, video camera and KB/mouse instead of using the KB/Mouse and laptop monitor for home office use.  Thank you!

It has  2 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4) ports. You can use compatible USB-C monitors to connect to your machine. You can also use USB-C to DP adapters to connect.

Regards.

Thank you!  Got the display working...Now have extended desktop...Ended up using Type 3 to HDMI adapter.
