I purchased this
HP Stream x360 - 11-p015wm (ENERGY STAR)
does this have a normal mouse and pointer feature or is everything just touch. they key pad works fine for typing. but i would like to use the touchpad like a traditional mouse and pointer. How can i do that, if i can?

OK got it to work. When i got this it had a broken screen, I replaced the screen and thats when I found the mouse did not work (touchpad) I tried all the settings and troubleshooting methods. However nothing worked. I then decided to pull the bottom off to see if there was any damage to the flex cables etc... I saw that someone had already taken it apart and forgot to plug back in the touchpad teather/flex cable. So I plugged it back in and voila... problem fixed. Thank you guys for taking the time to help me. very much appreciated. The process of elimination helped!

Hi,
The Touchpad also works as a mouse, you can see the mouse pointer on notebook screen when you move your finger(s) on the touchpad.
Regards.
