Pavilion Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have read on a few different Microsoft community question pages that the surface pen does work on none surface devices. However I need to know if it works specifically on my computer. I have a HP Pavilion Notebook which does have touch screen. I am able to connect the pen with my laptop, and it even works when I push the eraser button. When I push the button it pulls up my notes so that is proof that it connects properly. However the writing function doesn't work. Maybe I am missing something? I have asked Windows customer service but they told me to ask HP.

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I've got no idea what is your machine. Please check the following compatible list to select a right one.

If your machine is not on the list, come back later for more updates.

Regards.

It just says HP Pavilion Notebook if you look at the screenshot below. I can't even see the device listed on that link.type of device.JPG
