Product: HP EliteBook 820 G3 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
When I add a USB-Type C adapter for HDMI and VGA to the USB-C port, then it does not work.
So my question is:
Does the error come from my HP notebook or from another device?
Solution:
You must press Fn-ESC to get the information screen of your HP notebook.
On the bottom there is the USB-C port. Press on it and you will see if the Display Port is supported or not.
DisplayPort : (not) supported
In my case it is not supported.
