Hey!    I just purchased a laptop from the HP Store via Amazon described as:  HP 15.6" FHD Business & Student Laptop Computer, 32GB RAM 1TB SSD, 10-Core Intel Core i5, Windows 11 Pro Laptop with Microsoft Office Home & Business Included

My intention was to run this laptop with a dual monitor setup.   I acquired two HMDI monitors and connected them to a USB-C hub, which then connects to the laptop via the USB-C.    Unfortunately, I can't get the laptop to detect the existence of the monitors.   I confirmed the monitors work separately by connecting individually to the laptop via the HMDI connection.   I also have a second USB-C hub w/monitor in my home and the laptop doesn't detect it either.    Does this laptop support dual monitors via the USB-C port?    Any ideas what the problem might be?

What is your machine ? Its USB-C port may NOT compatible with USB-C hubs at all. It may have a hopeless USB-C port.

The specific model is 15-FD0999NR.   I still have time to return this laptop if it's not compatible and purchase one that is but I'm struggling to find out where it will tell me that specifically if I replace it.

Thanks
