Hi @Lahari_polkam-1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you've already taken some basic troubleshooting steps. Here are some additional suggestions you can try to resolve the issue with the touch and pen input on your HP Envy x360.

  1. Rollback or Update Drivers:

    • Sometimes, the latest drivers may not work well with certain hardware configurations. Try rolling back the driver to a previous version or updating to the latest version if you haven't already.
  2. Device Manager:

    • Open the Device Manager, locate the Intel Precise Touch and Stylus driver, and uninstall it. After uninstalling, restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the driver on the next boot.
  3. System Restore:

    • If the issue started after a recent change or update, you might consider using the System Restore feature to revert your system to a state where the touch and pen were working correctly.
  4. BIOS/UEFI Update:

    • Ensure that your system's BIOS/UEFI firmware is up to date. Manufacturers often release updates that can address compatibility issues and improve overall system stability.
  5. Windows Update:

    • Make sure your operating system is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Sometimes, a system update can resolve compatibility issues.
  6. Check for Hardware Issues:

    • Ensure that there are no physical issues with the touch and pen hardware. Check for any visible damage and ensure that the connections are secure.
  7. System File Checker (SFC) and DISM:

    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:

      sfc /scannow

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    • These commands will scan and repair system files. Restart your computer afterward.

Remember to back up your important data before making significant changes to your system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
