HP EliteBook 830 G6

Hi

I own 2x monitors Philips 27’’ 27E1N5500L (with 2xHDMI and 1 DualPort). My goal is to make them working together with the max resolution 2560x1440px. I tried with my laptop  HP Probook 650 i5 used with a docking station HSTNN-I11X but I cannot get the max resolution on both of them, only on one. Now, I would like to upgrade a bit laptop and docking station to let both Monitors work as wished with 2560x1440px together. I am about to buy the following combination to fullfill my needs: HP EliteBook 830 G6 and Docking station HP 2013 UltraSlim (which has 2x Dualport on it). My question is: will this be enough to let both Monitors work together at the highest resolution 2560x1440px or will I get again the surprise that only one monitor will let me go on max resolution? Any help is very appreciated, thanks in advance!

@fabiotizh,

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!

The HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 (p/n: 2UK37AA) and HP USB-C Universal Dock (p/n: 1MK33AA) support dual 4K @ 60Hz, according to the HP EliteBook 830 G6 QuickSpecs.

Basically, what you need is a USB-C Docking Station which supports Dual 4K Display Support.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
