I'm planning on buying an extra monitor for my setup. As of now, I have 1 monitor connected to my laptop hdmi port. The problem is that this notebook only has 1 hdmi port and no VGA. In the future I would want the two monitors work as one extra-wide monitor. Do I need an HDMI splitter or a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter? Or if there is any other option, I'll appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I would suggest you use "DisplayLink certified USB port" replicator If your connecting more that one external monitor.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
