Microsoft Windows 11

I have a brand new 2022 hp pavilion laptop 15-e2000 2j4v9av. I cant figure out how to connect two monitors. I have already tried connecting a USB-C to HDMI adapter, and a USB-C hub with two HDMI connections. So far the only thing I can accomplish is connecting one monitor through the HDMI port. Does anyone know if its even possible to connect monitor cia USB-C on thus model laptop?

Your machine is one of the following machines

             https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=%202j4v9av

It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors, you can use

M1: HDMI direct cable

M2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB to HDMI adapter such as

                       https://www.amazon.com.au/CableCreation-Adapter-Windows-Compatible-2560x1440/dp/B013G4CJM8

For more connectivity, please use

                            True Universal Docking Stations

@Banhien,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I will give one or both of these a try.

I used the USB port with the adapter you recommended and it worked. Thanks!
