In G6 2301ax model notebook, dual graphics cards Radeon 7640G +7670M are not functioning well even after number of trails done by installing online available drivers from amd as well as from hp.By installing online drivers from hp, The OS is getting crashed in Windows10 as well as in Win8.1. Also the drivers from amd are not supported to function the dual graphics cards both in Win8.1 as well as Win10. Also I tried those drivers to install as Win8 Compatibility mode, But no result. Please guide the solution to this issue as soon as possible. Thanks in advance

@Anil5969 The dedicated/discrete GPU is system managed and cannot be changed or set as default manually, there are a few tweaks that could be made using the steps in this link: click here to explore, that said, if you've confirmed that one of the two GPU's isn't working, you may want to perform a hardware test to identify hardware malfunction and we could work on repairing or replacing the GPU that no longer works:
Install the latest version of the HP Hardware diagnostics (UEFI) on your device using this link: Click here for details
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
- Click Extensive Test.
- Click Run once, or Loop until error.
- While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.
- If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
