I had taken my touchscreen HP laptop to an authorized HP service center for screen replacement. It took them over 25 days just to replace the screen. And they have returned the computer in a badly damaged state. The screen replaced is surely not a genuine HP screen, which I feared already.
I asked them to return the old screen (that had gotten damaged), so that I could compare it with the new screen. After comparison, I realised that the new screen's camera hole is not centrally placed, which has led to the blocking of the camera lens. Also, the new screen is larger than the older one, because of which, the screen pops out while closing the lid. Fitting of the large screen has damaged the lid. Now, the main issue, the stylus - HP tilt MPP 2.0 that came with the laptop and was of great use to me, does not work on this bogus screen.
I contacted the service center regarding this issue, and they said that they can't help. I also contacted HP via the WhatsApp support number, but they said that they can only resolve technical issues. Contacting the service center is not helping at all.
The laptop is not under the warranty period.
