ENVY x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've used this laptop for about 2 years, now. The left hinge has been acting up for the last few days and just today, a screw fell out of the screen. The screen has been separating from the case around the area where the screw fell out.  From searching on these forums, I've noticed that it appears there are quite a few similiar problems. What do I do next?

@sokol815 I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

Thanks for your "concern". it's widely understood that the hinge issues with the HP Envy x360 laptop are systemic and due to poor manufacturing quality. The right thing to do would be to own-up to the poor manufacturing quality and replace the defective hinges free-of-cost instead of asking $300 to repair a single hinge... almost 1/3 the price of the original $869 laptop, by the way...

I have no further incentive to purchase premium HP products in the future if HP will not stand by their products and own-up to manufacturing defects.
