Elitebook 865 simple contrast adjustment

Has anybody else 'discovered' that the Elitebook does not have a simple contrast adjustment?   Some ghastly whole-of-screen options are provided, that hardly fit the bill.  Why does a $3000 machine not have a simple contrast adjustment??

You have to use options from Windows :

they are the ghastly whole of screen settings.  I spent some time with those but they weren't a simple contrast adjustment on a slider.  They are major changes to the screen/display.  The whole of screen facility would not have been cheap to add, when based on the comments I have seen, a basic contrast slider is what is wanted...........sigh
