HI I have an Elitebook x360 830 G9 laptop, provided by work and my IT department also provided me with a HP G3 Active rechargeable pen which i believe is the compatible pen. My issue is with using the pen to perform handwriting.
- I have been able to connect the pen to the laptop via bluetooth.
- The pen is fully charged, I have also updated a current Wacon AES driver, rebooted after installation.
- I have used it successfully as a mouse pointer on the screen
- I have used it as a mouse pointer in laptop and tablet mode no problem.
- I have tried changing the tip of the pen
- I also have the HP pen settings app installed
However, when I open an app like sticky notes or one note (in either tablet or laptop mode) and try to draw a shape or take handwritten notes the text on screen is not great at all. The pen only wants to capture vertical lines and right angles, no flow or curves. Have pasted in an example of it below.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correctly write on the screen with this pen and get legible letters. I tried the improve your handwriting recognition tutorial but the characters are so poor on screen the recognition is awful.
thanks, Sam
