Your USB-C to VGA is NOT workable. You need a proper adapter. Does your monitor have DP port ? What is it ?

Regards.

@banhien
, my monitor is old, it only has VGA.
However, if I disconnect the HDMI, the USB-C/VGA connection works and i can use the display, so I know that adapter works, but I can't make both work at the same time
