HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13-bd0000 (172M6AV)

I have had my laptop for just over two years and have never dropped it. It has never received impact damage either from hitting things. I used my laptop today and then the next time I opened it, the screen was coming off. I have no idea what has caused it. I can't close the laptop either as the screen sticks out and I'm afraid to do more damage. There is absolutely no reason why this should have happened. It looks like it might be due to the hinge coming out of alignment, however considering how long I've had the laptop and how well I have looked after it, there is absolutely no reason why this should have happened. I've seen that this same thing has happened to many other users and that some of them have had to pay ridiculous prices to get it fixed.

What help is available without me also having to suffer paying ridiculous repair fees? (considering this seems to have happened through no fault of my own, considering how I've made sure to look after my laptop)
