I can't find a board for Envy x360 convertible laptop, so hope it is okay to post here. The touchscreen is very sensitive to the touch. When you touch screen to move up or down the sceen keeps wobbling across to the right, and isn't steady. This is when it is in laptop position not tablet position. I have gone into settings and can't find out how I change this level, looked into the properties of Mouse but doesn't cover touchscreen. If i use a mouse or use touchpad I don't get any wobbling.

Welcome to HP Community
You can try calibrating the Touchscreen in Windows 10
- Open Control Panel.
- Click on Hardware and Sound.
-
Under "Tablet PC Settings," click the Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input link.
-
Under "Display options," select the display (if applicable).
Quick Tip: Under "Details," you can tell whether your screen has full support for pen and touch with Windows 10.
-
Click the Calibrate button.
-
Select the Touch input option.
-
In the white screen, tap the crosshair each time that is appears on the screen, and do not change the resolution during this process.
- After the calibration process concludes, you'll be given the choice to save the calibration data.
Keep me posted how it goes 😊

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately after doing the calibration, as in your reply, it hasn't sorted out the problem of my screen wobbling acoss to the right everytime the screen is touched when I touch the screen to go up or down. I don't have the problem of my screen wobbling when I use the touchpad or a mouse.

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
You can also check fi the Touchscreen Test is available in the F2 Diagnostic to confirm the Hardware Functionality
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Touchscreen
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

Hi,
I must be missing a step because after I downoad and run the link, HPSA does not automatically search for the latest drivers. I don't get a top menu that I can click on My Devices, it remains on the same screen where you click on Download HP Support Assistant.

Did the HPSA get installed? Did you go through the installation process?
If the installation completed, try searching for the HPSA on your Desktop Icons
You can also click Start and type HP Support Assistant and the App should should show up for you to click on it
Once the App opens then you will have the Tab Devices as shown in the previous post 😊

Hello, Thanks for all your help. Have checked for updates on HPSA and there was only one update, HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI, no other updates available, Windows Updates are up-to-date and did F2 Component Test and Touchscreen but unfortunately my screen still wobbles. When I touch my screen to move up or down it wobbles to the right.

If the Screen wobbles during the Diagnostic Test, then it is a Hardware issue and you need to contact HP Support for Service Options
Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true and select your Country to get the Contact details for HP Support
Thank you
