Hello; I got an ENVY laptop as a present for last Xmas. Just after the 1 year warranty ran out, the front part of the screen detached from the back part of it at the bottom left corner. I have to keep the screen in a certain angle now as if I shut it down the metal parts are hanging out at the back, whilst if I open it wider there will be a gap between the two parts of the screen. I can see many other users have been complaining about similar issues; can you tell me please what options I have got to fix this as my laptop neither seems to be safe to use this way, nor can I use it as a laptop anymore. Thank you.

Hi @derailia,

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you contact HP support in your region regarding the service options for your computer

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

6)Fill the web form and proceed further.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

Hi Jay_G24;
Thank you for your reply, and sorry for the delay in coming back to you.
I was trying to follow the steps described, but when I try to set my address (UK) it only offers me the following ones as `supported products`: Samsung printers, A3 printers, and commercial laser jet.
Also, I tried to contact via virtual agent right after I discovered there was a problem with my laptop at Christmas, and it did not work out; automated answers weren`t any help, and I could not proceed. I tried it again today; it was the same.
Sadly, I can`t see any blue envelope anywhere on my profile to contact you further, either. Is there any chance to find a way still? Thank you.
