Pavilion 15-cs2xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a relatively modern Pavilion laptop and two additional monitors, I want to extend the laptop display.

I have a Sabrent USB type c dual hdmi adapter which works with a Dell Latitude notebook but not my Pavilion.

Can anyone suggest an adapter that will work?

Thanks

@psg68

What is your Pavilion 15-cs2xxx ? For example

         HP Pavilion 15-cs2120tx

Your machine probably has same ports of the above machine, its USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port does NOT support Alt mode therefore you can't connect it to an external monitor with nor without adapter/hub/dock.

Note:

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)

Hi BH,

Thanks for the reply, I believe it's an: HP Pavilion 15-cs2031na.  I am indeed trying to extend to two additional monitors plus the laptop screen.  It seems that every type C dual HDMI adapter fits every other laptop apart form my Pavilion.

Will check the link you provided.  Thanks.

Not particularly techy so any recommendations would be gratefully received!
