Product: HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D118AV)

I am having issues connecting an external monitor. My laptop is not giving me an option to identify when I connect the other monitor.

Port 6 is the only port you can use for video out.  See page 5 of service manual

The quality and length of the cable can make difference. l

Are you using and adapter such as HDMI to VGA or HDMI to DisplayPort?

 

To make a connection, hold down the windows key and the letter P key.
