15-cb060sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello there,

I have the 15-cb060sa and am looking to hook up 2 external monitors to my notebook both through DVI. I was just wondering whether my laptop supported the USB type-c as a display and if so, can I use the HDMI at the same time. Thank you for your answers.

@realmofgeorge Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to connect the external display.

I have checked the specification of your product.

1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge);

It will not support to connect the external display.

You have to connect through HDMI.

Please purchase an HDMI splitter.

I see that it says DP 1.2, is that not display port 1.2?

@realmofgeorge

I understand your concerns.

In that case, you have to purchase the DPI converter cable. It may work.

Have a nice day!!
