Hi, 

Could you please help me with how can I connect the external monitor to the Type-c port. It has been mention that it has support to display- DisplayPort output - Hp envy x360 convertible 15m-ee0xxx.  Thanks

Yes, you can connect an external display to the computer using the type C port. You can use a USB C to USB C cable or USB C to the ports available on the monitor.
