Operating System: Ubuntu LTS

I use Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS in a HP HP EliteBook 830 G7 Notebook PC, through HP dock usb-c G5.

 

Everything worked well until two weeks ago. Suddenly the external display stopped working through the dock station, no matter what cable connects the display to the dock. The display works well when connected directly to the laptop with HDMI cable. I have checked that the dock station works well with windows, so I guess it is a driver/software problem in my Ubuntu, probably due to an automatic software update.

Any help on how to fix it?
