HP ENVY - 13-aq0008ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an HP ENVY - 13-aq0008ca laptop. i recently purchased an HP EliteDisplay E223 21.5" Monitor and USB-C to HDMI Video Converter (USB 3.1 Type-C to HDMI 4K HDTV Adapter Cable).

While the USB seems to be working correctly as mentioned on this link the monitor still shows no display.

(The monitor works properly on my Dell laptop so i know there is no issue with the monitor)

Please let me know how can i resolve this issue.

Thanks

The specs of your machine is

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06418888

It has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (5 Gb/s signaling rate, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge) port.

The USB-C to HDMI won't work. It MAY work with USB-C to DP cable.

Regards.
