For last couple of days my external monitor connected over USB-C (using adaptor USB-c to HDMI) stopped getting detected by my laptop, which was working all along till now.
My Laptop is HP Spectre x360 running Windows 11
In last few days, I have tried:
1. Used another USB-C hub for HDMI connection (This laptop doesn't have HDMI port, uses USB-C Hub for HDMI connection). Still external monitor not detected
USB-C port still charge.
2. Tried other usb-c port as well
3. Tested that external monitor connects to another laptop using HDMI cable and it works fine.
4. Updated the drivers (Monitor, Display, Graphics, USB)
5. Checked the Display Settings. Windows doesn't detect / recognize any external display
6. Restarted the laptop and monitor.
7. Ran hardware diagnostics, No issue detected.
Can you kindly suggest how to troubleshoot further?
Could it be some updates related?

Hello, Did you try using HP Support Assistant by any chance to update drivers??. If you dont you can try checking and installing the app using this website: HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
(make sure you allow bios on hp support assistant. Open Settings, Under Software Updates Settings click advanced settings. After that allow bios)
If that doesnt work, you can try reinstalling windows 11, refer to this website: Reinstall Windows with the installation media - Microsoft Support
Install Windows 11 With USB: Download Windows 11
