Hello,
I am working on my laptop "HP Pavilion g6" which I buy in May 2014 and till now I am really impressed with my
laptop and the services you provided to me all these years.
One thing which I want to discuss here is that I changed my battery once and replaced with not so original one
but I will definitely one day and I also changed certain cable wiring due to which I faced certain issues like
display and brightness in the past.
Now all are good but still, I have one problem and that is the mouse is not great working, it working but not the
similar way as it was doing in the past.
The moving cursor is doing amazing but the two clicking buttons are not working good and have issues regarding
this one.
After 7 years, my keyword still working very great and I have to thank for this amazing service that your company doing with all your products.
I am sure that you will help me to get rid of this issue as soon as possible.
Thanks for having me and give me a platform for asking my query.
I checked all the queries on your platform and then I am sure that you will be able to answer this query as soon as possible.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant: (do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating)
To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.
- To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon
.
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
And, also run BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629
If that didn't work, try using the generic driver that comes with Windows. Here's how: in Device Manager, right-click (or press and hold) your touchpad driver > Update driver software... > Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, select HID-compliant mouse, select Next, and follow the instructions to install it.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
