HP Chromebook 14
Chrome OS

I opened my 14-m.o.  Chromebook 14 this morning to a flickering screen. It is subtle enough that it doesn't interrupt the display itself, only causes severe eye distraction and fatigue. Other than power-cycling ( which did not help) are there other steps I can to remedy it on my own?

Thanks for your input!

Hello, @Nagala– Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Forum! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!

I understand that the Chromebook display is flickering. I'll certainly try to assist you with the issue! To assist you better, I need the complete product details. If unsure, please check: http://hp.care/2oPCMBG

Alternatively, please perform a hard reset of the Chromebook. Sometimes, this will remove these lines since you are resetting the hardware.

If that doesn't help, then you should restore your Chromebook. This will reinstall Chrome OS which will eliminate the issue if it is a software conflict.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Good luck 🙂
