HP Pavilion - 14-ce3609sa
Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop HP Pavilion 14 flickers and is black when I switch on. I can go into the BIOS by pressing F10 and recover the BIOS F9 and save the changes and then it's fine until I next reboot.

I've tried downloading SP74687.exe but it says my laptop is not suitable to download this.

Has anyone got any ideas what to do please?

I Andy I've managed to fix it thanks. I re-installed Windows from the BIOS screen which was not nearly as scary as I'd imagined. I had to re-install Office and McAffee but that was fairly easy too. I lost all my favourites in Explorer but I probably needed to cull them anyway. Thank you for your reply, it is very much appreciated. I was lost without my laptop as I rely on it for everything.

Many thanks,
