Hi all,
I have a HP ProBook 450 G6, connected to HP Elite USB-C Dock G4. I have two external monitors connected to the docking station, HP Z27n (HDMI-DP) and EliteDisplay E241i (DP-DP 1.2). I also like to keep the laptop's lid open for one more screen. The problem is poor resolution on the E241i, when all three screens are in use (1280x800 vs. recommended 1920x1200). If the Z27n is off, the resolution on the E241i goes back to recommended. The Z27n has the recommended resolution 2560x1440, and the laptop screen too (1920x1080), each at 60 Hz.
I have narrowed the problem down to the dock not being able to support three screens with resolution more than 1680x1050 @ 60 Hz, and I was wondering if there are any options (besides getting a new docking station) that could help me improve the resolution on the E241i, e.g. an adapter of some kind.
The monitor and display adapter drivers are up to date:
Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620: v. 27.20.100.8280; 19/05/2020
E241i: v. 3.0.0.0; 27/09/2015
Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. First, I thought I had already tried that and had not found the option - then digging deeper, I realized what a noob I had been, not knowing that you need to go through the UEFI to get to the BIOS settings. So I did find the desired check box and checked it, and now all my three screens have full resolutions.
Thank you for your help and tolerance!
