Hi @Gardner123_,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your laptop's screen appears fuzzy only when watching YouTube, there may be specific settings or compatibility issues at play. Here are a few potential solutions to address this problem:

Update Video Drivers:

  • Ensure that your graphics card drivers are up-to-date. Use the HP Support Assistant to check for and install the latest drivers. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
  • To access HP Support Assistant, go to the Start Menu > All Apps > HP Help and Support > HP Support Assistant.

Check Video Quality Settings:

  • While watching a YouTube video, click on the gear icon (Settings) in the bottom right corner of the video player.
  • Set the video quality to a higher resolution, like 720p or 1080p, if available.

Clear Cache and Cookies:

  • Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies may resolve display issues. This can typically be done in the browser's settings or privacy section.

Try a Different Browser:

  • Sometimes, switching to a different web browser (e.g., from Google Chrome to Mozilla Firefox) can address playback issues.

Adjust Hardware Acceleration:

  • In Chrome, go to Settings > Advanced > System, and toggle the "Use hardware acceleration when available" setting off and then on again.

Restart Browser or Laptop:

  • Simply closing and reopening the browser or restarting the laptop may resolve temporary issues.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
