Hello guys, I have this one HP Pro 3400 MT and since I don't have the original case, I couldn't have the serial number, so Don't mind if it says Laptop or something since there was no option for desktop as it seems like HP discontinued them all or something.
Everything was working and it was upgraded with a GT630 2GB as well as DDR3 8+4GB RAM (4GB died to Power Surge, currently 8GBs) It all started when one day we turned on the PC after a week nobody used it since it would annoyingly power off randomly and not turn on anymore. The PC turned on, it didn't show any video but GPU fan was spinning, so, I decided to plug it into Integrated Video and to my surprise, it was already in windows sign-in screen.
I don't know what happened, but Upgrading BIOS from 7.14 to 7.16 didn't help either way.
Also, lately the power supply was not turning on the PC sometimes, so I had to hit the power supply gently while pressing the button which was normally working after, but the HDD was also very slow and computer was suffering in low write speeds.
Could it be the power supply issue or should I get a new motherboard or gpu?
A failing GPU usually has higher degrees and weird video output which mine obviously didn't have as it was averaging on 43°C idle or everyday use + I couldn't find anything that says the GPU straight up not detected by BIOS is a failure.
So, I'm kind of confused and don't know what to replace.
Should it be the motherboard? GPU? or the annoying PSU that might underpower the components by any chance?
