ey! First post! WHEEY!!
Anyway, I've recently purchased an HP Pavilion gaming laptop 15-ec1009na . I booted it up and installed the latest Nvidia drivers for the 1660TI. I then started to notice the cursor had a tracer/motion-blur effect, and when I moved the windows fast as well. It's quite noticeable. It's doing it everywhere, in games, on the desktop...Everywhere and everything.
So I wondered if it was a driver issue as I saw, according to Windows, the primary display adaptor was running off the Ryzen 7 integrated graphics. I'm wondering if it's saying this because it's using the onboard graphics for the desktop and using the dedicated GPU for games (I checked task manager and the games run off the 1660TI). I did make sure in the Nvidia control panel that it runs off the 1660TI.
I then did some digging and found out about 'ghosting'. Never heard of it before, and yes, it sounds like I'm having this issue. I also checked to see if I could up the refresh rate but it won't go further than 60HZ.
Is ghosting normal for this laptop's screen? Is it a fault? Please, any help would be appreciated.

@EssexChris
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to get the answer to this question, there no known ghosting issues with this model.
This sounds like a graphic driver related issue. I suggest you make use of the drivers from the NVIDIA website since the HP version of the drivers haven't help as I can see: https://hp.care/2GCB1fF
And, also run BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
