So I was playing some games and I randomly used the game bar to adjust my volume cause I wanted to try it out. In the performance section while I was playing league of legends I realized my graphics card is being used 0%. When I did some diagnostic test by intel it said I’m using some generic intel graphics drivers and I should use the HP specific one.I need help cause I lag often.

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
Also, check for any pending windows update.
Update the BIOS, Click here to download the latest version from HP Support site.

Hey,
thank you so much for your help.
So I did everything you said but sadly the problem still exists. First I did the bios update then I did the HP support assistant update. For some reason after I updated it I opened chrome then the cpu 3D graph spiked up to 100% then went back to 3% then to 1% then it went back to 0%.

I recommend you manually download and install the graphics driver from the below link and check.

The different graphics drivers are for different versions of Windows. Check the motherboard/processor installed on your computer and install the one which applies for your computer.
You can find this information from the system info page.
