Hi, I have had my 15 inch omen laptop for just over 2 months. Was working great and then noticed a green pixel close to the centre of the screen. The wierd thing is it's not on all the time, only when the area above or below is white or light colour. When the screen is dark or black the pixel goes out. This actually makes it worse than a permanently stuck or dead pixel as when watching a video or playing a game the pixel 'flashes' bright green and comes on and off depending on what's above or below.

The question is what can be causing this, and is it a stuck pixel or something else. I have sent for repair and we are arguing as they say I need at least 8 stuck pixels to get a repair. I have done a full reset, updated drivers and even used one of those flashing screen fixes but so far no luck. It's really annoying as it's a gaming laptop and this is when the issue is most obvious

Welcome to HP support community.

Try connecting the notebook to a external monitor and check if the issue persists?

If the issue does not persists on external monitor, follow the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here

I hope that helps.
