I bought an HP V20 HD+ monitor.  The HDMI connector is too large for the Chromebook 14.  Is there a specific cable that I need, or is there an adapter?  Thanks.

The monitor has  HDMI; VGA ports

Your machine only has

  • 2 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2);
  • 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate;
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo

NO HDMI port at all. Which cable do you use ?

Its USB-C ports support DisplayPort™ 1.2 therefore you can use a monitor with USB-C port for input OR USB-C to HDMI (in theory) or USB-C to DP cable.

Regards.
