OMEN by HP - 15-ce027nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I need to know what exact version my laptop (OMEN by HP - 15-ce027nf) have for:

  • HDMI port
  • mini DP port

to determine which of my monitor or laptop have a problem with 1440p 144hz

Product number:2YK94EA

I already checked with "DriversCloud" and with HP product specs, but  cant find that specific info.

any help on how/where to find those infos please?

thanks a lot

@AdanRicco

Firstly DP and HDMI both use digital signals, no conversion required. Page 2 of the manual says machine has

  • HDMI: v2.0 supporting: up to 4096×2160 at 60 Hz with HDCP 2.2
  • Mini DisplayPort  (does not say which version but I believe it is 1.4)

Regards.

Thank you @Banhien for your reply,

could you please link me the manual where you found the info?

the manual found on my product page doesnt have it.

besides:

  • my HDMI output is limiting me to 100hz
    • --> cable came with monitor (Acer Nitro XV340CKP)
  • my mini DP port doesnt seem to be able to handle 144hz (terrible flickering and speaker noise as soon as I activate 144hz)

so I'm a bit confused  who's the culprit; Monitor or ports!

thanks for the help
